Fairchild Imaging: Cooled CCD Camera with USB-2 interface

Distributed in UK, France and Italy by BFi OPTiLAS, Fairchild Imaging (USA) is growing its line of very low-noise, multiport, cooled scientific cameras with the Peregrine 3041 RevC. All based on the homemade world famous Fairchild Imaging very large CCD sensor with 4Million up to 16Million Pixels, the Fairchild Imaging Cameras show impressive quantum efficiency above 90% for the back-illuminated versions.
The new Peregrine 3041 is a 2Kx2K front- or back-illuminates cooled CCD camera with 2 modes of operation either High Speed Mode (12MHz) or Low Noise Mode (8 electron Readout at 2MHz) that can be switched by a simple software click. The 800ke full well capacity of the output node gives the capability of true-16 bits images. All these good features via a USB2 interface for easy integration.
Fairchild Imaging scientific cameras find widespread use in such varied applications as electron microscopy, high throughput screening (HTS), microarray and microtiter plate analysis, non-destructive testing (NDT), x-ray crystallography, x-ray inspection and other high-perfomance imaging applications.

Fairchild Imaging TDI-4K Linear CCD Cameras

Fairchild Imaging (USA) is proposing the Osprey CCD/CAM-4KTDI. This is an ultra-sensitive camera for use in line scan applications that demand high performance under low light conditions. It features a 4096 x 96 TDI CCD imager, in-house built by Fairchild Imaging, that provides anti-blooming and programmable gain and offset. With four outputs at 25MHz per output, so an outstanding 100MHz total, the Osprey 4k delivers line rates up to 23k lines per second with 8-bit synchronous data.
The Osprey is ideal for challenging imaging and industrial inspection applications where time delay integration (TDI) technology can deliver dramatically higher sensitivity than previous line scan solutions. The Osprey camera also provides a selectable number of TDI stages to customize the level of sensitivity required for your application.
The CCD sensor is sensible from UV to Near-IR. It represents the ideal low-light fast high resolution camera for multiple applications like Flat Panel Display application, OCR, Web inspection, Biomedical Diagnostic Systems, aerial imaging, etc… And with a fiber-bonded X-Ray scintillator, it can be used in different application like X-Ray Dental scanning, or X-Ray Security screening.
The Osprey-4K camera is available in housed version (CE-marked) or in OEM-Board version.

Fairchild Imaging Scientific Cameras available with USB-2 interface

Distributed in UK, France and Italy by BFi OPTiLAS, Fairchild Imaging (USA) is proposing a line of very low-noise, multi-port, cooled scientific cameras based on world re-knowned Fairchild Imaging very large CCD sensor, 4096x4096 pixels, and 15μ pitch. All the cameras are cooled down to -60ºC with thermoelectric or cryogenic coolers. There are 2 models of cameras based on this CCD.
Peregrine486, available in either front-illuminated or back-illuminated version, is proposed with a vacuum flange for connection to special optics or to vacuum chambers.
- Condor486 is available with different bonded fiber optics (tapers or faceplates).
- Condor 486:90 features a 1:1 fiber taper that provides a 90mm diameter faceplate
- Condor 486:135 features a 1.5:1 fiber taper that provides a 135mm diameter faceplate, and the unique Condor 486:200 features a 2.2:1 fiber taper that provides an incredible 200mm diameter faceplate!
Fairchild Imaging scientific cameras find widespread use in such varied applications as electron microscopy, high throughput screening (HTS), micro array and microtiter plate analysis, non-destructive testing (NDT), x-ray crystallography, x-ray inspection and other high-performance imaging applications.
All These cameras are now available for with USB-2 digital interface for an easier connection to PC.
